Moving to concierge-only care in mid-2027.
Our goal is to keep SEVA personal, independent, and here for you for years to come. We are planning a full transition to concierge membership by mid-2027, with insurance participation changing as our current contracts end.
Protecting the time and care you deserve.
We value the relationships we’ve built with you and your family. To preserve that kind of care and remain independent and sustainable in today’s healthcare environment, our small, privately owned practice needs a model that supports the time, attention, and access our patients deserve.
Insurance reimbursement has not kept pace with the cost of delivering care. Unlike a large health system, a small practice has fewer resources to absorb those gaps. When a plan applies a deductible, the insurer may pay little or nothing toward a visit, leaving a patient balance. When those balances remain unpaid, the practice still carries the cost of providing care.
Insurance denials, coverage restrictions, and billing disputes also take time away from patient care. These decisions are often made by the insurance company, yet our practice sometimes receives the blame for outcomes we cannot control. We understand how frustrating these situations can be. Our team helps where we can, but we cannot control your plan’s coverage or payment decisions.
Concierge membership provides more predictable support for our practice and makes room for longer conversations, direct communication, and thoughtful prevention. It helps us keep your care personal while building a sustainable future for SEVA.
What this means for your care.
For now, we will continue seeing our existing insurance-based patients while our applicable insurance contracts remain valid. As those contracts expire, we will transition to concierge membership only at that time. Dates may differ by plan; our office will confirm the timing and billing arrangements that apply to you.
If you do not plan to enroll
We strongly recommend establishing care with an in-network primary care provider as soon as possible. Starting now gives you time to find a practice, arrange your first visit, and maintain continuity of care. Contact your insurer for an up-to-date list of in-network PCPs.
Your next steps, with our support.
Keep your scheduled appointments unless our team advises otherwise. If you choose another practice, we can help coordinate the transfer of your medical records. Please allow time to establish with your new provider and discuss any ongoing prescriptions or follow-up needs with our team.
Let’s discuss what works for you.
We’ll walk through membership, current care arrangements, and your transition questions so you can make an informed decision.
